Rosie, may you rest in Eternal Peace
You will always be loved; you will always be missed.
It is with a deep heart that we regret to announce the passing of one of our staff members, Rosemary Nafula, revered as ‘Rosie’, on the 10th of December 2016 at Kikuyu PCEA Mission Hospital, Kenya
We had just celebrated her 60th birthday at our office; she was elated and excited as this was her first birthday party.
She suddenly became unwell and was diagnosed with intestinal obstruction. She was admitted in hospital and underwent a five (5) hour surgery, which appeared to be successful; however, she later succumbed to post-operation complications.
Rosemary joined my family over 30 years ago when our lastborn, Lulu, was one year old. She was so good that when I decided to retire her after the children had grown, they would not let me. She has earned her place in our family and is much loved by all of us. At the time of her death, she had been my walking companion and prayer partner. Rosemary not only took care of my family, but also the ROP Africa and AJFAND family. Aside from keeping the office clean and tidy, she was the office prayer champion who was always ready to give her sound advice. Many of you in Kenya would have seen me with Rosemary.
She leaves behind two daughters and six grandchildren who still need help with college and school tuition. As an organization, we will stand by her family, but if you would like to make a contribution please contact Mr. Michael Okumu on +254 722 406955 or email@example.com. Her elder daughter (Gladys Simiyu) who is now head of household can be reached on +254 720 178192. She will be missed dearly. Her family of 2 daughters and their 6 children are devastated and need prayers and to be comforted. To each one of you that has sent financial contribution, please be assured that every bit of it will be accounted for and put towards its proper use; we are very grateful.
She will be buried on 29th December 2016 in a home she had just completed and where she was planning to spend her holiday with family. Her home is situated in Turbo, Makutano, Kakamega County. A memorial service will be held in Nairobi at the Glory PAG Church Kangemi on 27th December 2016. CHURCH CONTACT IS: Nickson Luyundi 0720226211
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS: FINANCIAL, MATERIAL, EMOTIONAL AND PRAYERS.
